Deron R. Harrington elected Fellow of the American Bar Foundation

Houston Area Attorney and CPA, Deron R. Harrington, has been elected to be a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Membership is limited to less than one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction in the United States.

Members are nominated by fellows in their jurisdiction and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. This honor recognizes an attorney's outstanding professional achievements and adherence to the legal profession's highest principles. 

Founded in 1952 by the American Bar Association, the American Bar Foundation is an independent, nonprofit national research institute committed to objective, empirical research on law, legal institutions and legal processes. Research is conducted by an interdisciplinary staff of research fellows trained in diverse fields such as law, sociology, psychology, political science, economics, history and anthropology. The American Bar Endowment, American Bar Foundation Fellows and research grants from private foundations and government agencies support the foundation's work.

Mr. Harrington operates the Law Office Of Deron R. Harrington with practice areas in Taxation, Estate Planning, Probate, Litigation, and Commercial Law.  In addition, Deron founded Harrington, Carbone & Allison, LLP, a CPA firm specializing in tax compliance.
